Mating

This litter reflects our Shadowdown ethos – breeding Labradors that are true to type, sound in temperament, and excellent in the field, while still being wonderful companions.

This carefully planned litter by Rossclyde Highland Grouse out of Fenway Margo of Shadowdown combines generations of proven working field trial bloodlines with classic Labrador type and temperament. The sire line features some of the most influential names in modern working Labradors, renowned for their trainability, nose and biddable nature, while the dam brings substance, breed type and a kind, steady temperament. Both dogs have drive with steadiness in equal measure, trainability, style and balance. They are lovely movers with fantastic temperaments.

These puppies are expected to make highly trainable, versatile Labradors, equally suited to working homes, active country families, and those seeking a classic, dual-purpose Labrador.
